High Efficiency Sterilization can be Realized by Autoclave Packing

High Efficiency Sterilization can be Realized by Autoclave Packing:

Working Principle of Autoclave:

The autoclave consists of a steel container with a door that can be isolated from the outside world. Water steam from the boiler is pumped into the autoclave through a special piping system. Air leaves the chamber gradually until only pressurized steam remains inside. High efficiency sterilization can be realized by autoclave packing, Huanyu provides corresponding equipment.

Process Efficiency:

Steam and pressure are the two factors that decide the efficiency of the sterilization process. They ensure that enough heat is transferred to the organisms to kill them.
A series of negative pressure pulses are used to clear all possible cavitation, while a series of positive pulses are applied to maximize steam penetration.
The pressure inside the autoclave can reach any value between 6.9×10⁻³kPa (0.7 atm),equivalent to water steam at a temperature a little more than 115°C.All forms of bacteria, molds and yeasts disappear after only a few minutes of exposure to 100°C, while the most resistant spores (i.e., spores of tetanus) collapse within 15 seconds at 115°C.Therefore, In order to ensure that all pathogens and non-pathological forms are dead, so that the material in the autoclave is completely sterile. It is necessary to continue sterilization for 20 minutes.

The fact that an object or environment is sterile does not mean that it is completely free of contamination, but merely that it contains the lowest concentration of possible contaminants. Therefore, this situation needs to be addressed.

Although steam and pressure are key factors in the efficiency of the sterilization process, the package of sterilization loads is critical to achieving a cost-effective autoclave cycle.

Sterility Assurance Level (SAL), used to indicate the probability of bacterial survival. It defines a sterile area in which 1 in 1,000,000 units is contaminated (bacterial count equals 10⁻⁶).

Sterilization was defined as a process in which all possible life forms are completely destroyed by putting an object in a autoclave, so that bacteria cannot reproduce. It became apparent that autoclave itself did not ensure sterility as time passed. The autoclave cycle is the whole process from material preparation to storage and must be considered in its entirety.None of these phases should be underestimated for a successful sterilization cycle.

The autoclave size adds another factor. Managers should consider both the type of material to be sterilized and the relative pressure ring.

The microbial charge on the object (biological load) may be mild, moderate, or severe. Therefore, it must be effectively removed by decontamination and cleaning, both of them are essential precautions in the sterilization process.

Autoclave Loading:

As finished the package, the loading of autoclaves represents an equally important step in the success of the sterilization cycle. It must be operated in such a way that the steam can circulate freely and penetrate into each package.

Make Sure the Process Follows the Following List:

The autoclave load must be putted evenly and must not touch the inner wall.
Sterilization load must be arranged so that each surface is exposed to the disinfectant at the desired temperature and time.
The openings of special tools, such as containers and pipes, must be placed face down to prevent condensation and the formation of bubbles.
After finishing the sterilization cycle, for example,if the packaging is damaged or in contact with a wet surface, the process should be repeated,it is necessary to follow additional procedures to ensure aseptic status.
